There are heaps of good pubs in the Richmond area so that's an option. Maybe the Precinct or the London Tavern.
If you want to head back towards the city maybe Transport (Fed Square) or the Riverland Bar are an option.
Ok nice.
If any of you see a guy in a red jacket, dogs scarf and cap/beanie with a Griffen badge, come and say hello. I think I'm right in the middle of the Hawk section tonight, should be fun.

I thought the Mona Castle was more of an 'a la carte' type dining establishment than a suburban pub these days? I used to live in North st and the first time we dropped in for a drink a bloke came flying out of one of the (shut) windows as we walked in!

Re: Pre Game!! where to begin??
I ended up upstairs at the Corner before last week. You'd want to be there early if you want something to eat though, there was a 40 minute wait on food at 6.30. Might go there again on Friday as my seat is down that end of the ground.
Re: Pre Game!! where to begin??
Might as well go to a good pub like The Corner or the Great Britain. Most of the other pubs in Richmond are crap.
I wonder if Woofgirl went to the Royal. Looking from the outside, it looked 99% blokes.

I saw a girl in there.
She must have got her top caught on a nail or something because it had fallen off altogether!

Still a suburban type pub with good food. Friendly crew in there as well. Publican is a mad doggies supporter.

You were just looking through the window to see if you knew anyone inside, I guess. It's a shame nobody offered her their jacket, it must have been freezing.

If you can get one, the joint was absolutely chokers last week.
Re: Pre Game!! where to begin??
I think I might need to kill a few brain cells before I watch us tonight or atleast attempt to dull the feeling around the brain.
Transport or Riverland might be the go, say around 5.30, nice night for drinking too...
