Re: Delistings and retirements 2023
PORT ADELAIDE has farewelled midfielders Riley Bonner and Trent Dumont, ruck Brynn Teakle and utility Nathan Barkla after they were informed their contracts would not be renewed for 2024.
Re: Delistings and retirements 2023
Adelaide has thanked Andrew McPherson, Jackson Hately, Tariek Newchurch and Tyler Brown for their contributions to the Club, with the players told they will not be offered contracts for next season.

I really though Hately had a future but his return to SA didn't help kick start his career.

Must not be much interest in Bonner, not even bothering to try and get some free agency compo.
Teakle has fallen out of favour quickly having be selected ahead of Lycett at times this year. A possible free Sweet replacement? 204cm and about to turn 24.

I thought Bonner was a pretty good young draftee when he came on board. I wonder what has happened to him with his development.

Maybe Fantasia brought his development experience across from the bombers and Bonner thought it was a great idea and followed it.
Re: Delistings and retirements 2023
Brynn Teakle is clearly a made up name but perhaps he and Sweet can just exchange locker keys at the border.
Re: Delistings and retirements 2023
North Melbourne has today informed Lachie Young, Flynn Perez, Phoenix Spicer and Jacob Edwards they will not be offered contracts for 2024.
Jacobs an ex pick 1

*Pick 1 in the mid season draft.
Not sure what happened with Edwards because at the time I recall North had supposedly done well grabbing him before the national draft where he was going to be in demand.
Young isn't surprising, never quite looked up to the level.

The old grabbing them a year early as they are likely to be top ten the next year.
Was that the word around Wayde Skipper?
