Given that the club also heard about it from the media rather than the player it won't sit well with them either.
You have to wonder about the way Collingwood have managed their players and the way the leadership group is performing.
The no dickheads policy might me you pass over the occasionally more talented player but it probably saves you a low in the end
If you asked Collingwood supporters should they have kept Treloar instead of De Goey I think most would say yes.
Malthouse used to protect their loose cannons like Didak, Shaw, Swan didn't he. It seems cultural.
Didak was even in a car that had bullets fired from it by a guy who went on to become a murderer.

The problems you walk past are the problems you accept. I expected better from Buckley though

Christopher Wayne Hudson. He was pistol whipping a woman on a CBD street and shot dead a bloke who came to her aid. Hudson was a Hell's Angel . Apparently the Angels rang the police to tell them they had Hudson and would hand him over. The cops said they'd come and collect him but the Angels said that they wanted to remove his gang tattoos first then in the background there was the sound of a belt sander starting up! Hudson was dropped off at a hospital and needed skin grafts to his injuries.
The Hell's Angels are obviously much better at getting rid of trouble makers than Collingwood.

Apparently there was a blow torch involved as well.
https://www.smh.com.au/national/biki...insider%20said.
But I guess a belt sander probably burns more than it does anything else!
Re: Collingwood and the Cap
Christ, didn't even click the link and I need therapy. Best keeping that away from our group

Wow - that's like something straight out of Sons of Anarchy.
Re: Collingwood and the Cap
Charges against De Goey have been dropped.

1 charge has been dropped. That of forcible touching. He still faces charges of assault and harrassment.

It says that was dropped by the prosecution, so it will be interesting to find out whether that was at the request of the accuser.

Or there is footage showing his dropkick of a mate was the groper. The guy who glassed the girl's friend.

Maybe it comes under joint enterprise law? Those laws that treat both parties to a crime the same no matter who did what.
Re: Collingwood and the Cap
The turnaround by the Pies has been impressive.
From a mismanaged salary cap where they pay something like 250K a season for a quality player like Treloar to play against them
With one of the competitions best ruckman in Grundy missing most of the season
With one of their more talented players in De Goey getting in the headlines for all the wrong reasons
The way they have been able to extract good seasons from ageing veterans in Sidebottom and Pendlebury plus somehow they've made Cox into a AFL relevant player
And a playing list that I don't think is that strong.
They have also been able to get an impressive winning streak going.
How does a club that's had so many challenges over the last couple of years extract such a huge turnaround in performances?
The new coach has worked, Nick Daicos has been sensational but can anyone suggest the reasons why they have excelled this year?
