Should he stay, should he go?
Campbell Brown - The Age - 3 July

I HAVE been watching from afar as the Callan Ward-Greater Western Sydney situation has been unfolding. I have been interested because I was in a similar situation last year, having been publicly identified as a possible Gold Coast target early in the season, and having to deal with your name being linked every time the topic gets raised.
The Bulldog mainstay will be asked if he is going or staying a dozen times a day; from the greengrocer to his close mates, everyone wants to know. It is a unique situation we have found ourselves in in the past few years and it is the one time players don't feel any need to rush in terms of their contract negotiations. However, he and I are in completely different situations and stages in our careers but I think the thought processes of potentially leaving your football club would be pretty similar.

Anyone else who wants to weigh in on this?
Campbell must really identify with Cal which explains why he belted him in the back of the head behind play.
Re: Should he stay, should he go?
Ita a good article I thought as Campbell has been through it, I actually read it as Campbell telling Cal not to think about just the money.
Sounds like if Campbell was young he would have stayed at the Hawks.
Re: Should he stay, should he go?
According to Shane Crawford he wouldn't be getting a game at Collingwood:rolleyes:.

Pretty sure Cal plays a different role to Brown and as such this comparison is completely useless.
Re: Should he stay, should he go?
Not sure he would be ahead of Ball or Wellingham. Better than Blair but he plays forward half the time and Ward hasn't shown that he can do that.

Of course they play different roles, was talking more ability wise.
