Re: 2022 Western Bulldogs Membership Thread
I noticed that North hit a record as well around 46,500. Not bad for a team performing so poorly on the field
From a membership perspective footy is doing well.

What would be interesting would be a complete table of all clubs’ memberships broken down by membership type. That would give a truer reflection. It’s not fair to compare a three match membership with a full membership and then even a pet membership. Memberships are in part so high because of the increase in membership categories.

It should be membership revenue (the measure) rather than numbers.

But even that is difficult as those clubs with their own stadiums manage to package up higher returns per member. But you’re right in that it does better reflect the economic strength of clubs.

When you pay $300+ for an 11 game Docker Membership (just to get a seat), the numbers would also be skewed. I know the Eagles are the same (plus they have a waiting list that you pay annually to remain on). You would also have to look at Sydney, Adelaide and Port. Not sure about other interstate teams

They must be the cheap seats Scragger, cat A is $999 for 11 games Dockers and we don't even get a dogs game with it this year.

He would probably sell more memberships the less he wears.
