GWS gunning for him
Re: Confirmed Trades 2019
12 & Acres (& more, future picks) - Hill
18 - Howard & Ryder as steak knives
32 - (Bruce) Jones
Newnes &/or McKenzie out for a pick for - Butler
Fits ok, except Hill. How will Freo take this news? Wouldn't want Liam Henry to go a bit early at 11...

Port have demanded a first rounder for Howard. Pick 18 is a first rounder.
Bruce for Jones
Butler & Ryder are nothing trades from Newnes & McKenzie leaving
Need to convince Freo to take pick 12 (issues with NGA Henry maybe), Blake Acres & 2020 2nd rounder.

It would be even better if the last pick trade netted the Swans pick 7 and then they bid on Green (with it later coming out they had no interest in him but they effectively handed themselves pick 6). If there wasn’t already ill feeling and rivalry, this would do it.

Feels like the supposed ‘shallowness’ of the 2019 draft and the strong, yet compromised 2020 draft is really grinding things to a halt. Teams with NGA prospects next year don’t want to give up future picks, and clubs are reluctant to accept 2nd+ round picks this year when in previous years with more draft talent they might have.
Re: Confirmed Trades 2019
extremely slow moving thread :)
Re: Confirmed Trades 2019
I think Saints are the problem.
They have 5 players who want to go there so well done on that but can't do the deals to get them there. The onus is on them to make it happen.
If they don't they are going to look very silly and players will be wary about nominating them in future.

Well they need to take pick 32 for Bruce and get this rolling
Re: Confirmed Trades 2019
I think Sydney need to let Jones go for that pick.
