He also said 'But now you've sucked your lemon peel dry, so why not get high, high, high' so I am not sure he is the greatest source of advice...

Preseason Medical update.

Recap of medical update for those who can't watch.
C.Daniel and JJ, both had offseason surgery, both back running, expected to train fully after Christmas/New year break
Bailey Dale, did rehab over break on stress fracture, doing some running now, about a month away from joining in
Gowers fractured wrist, plenty of running, training fully in around a month (just before break)
Webb, still has neck brace, light running, will have scans in 8 weeks and plan made after that (long way away)
Picken, lots of running, still getting mild headaches, no contact allowed until given green light by specialist.
Thanks DD. Doesn't sound good for Webb or Picko. I'd be beside myself if they got an injury that made their injury and slight recovery much worse. There's a lot more to life than playing footy.
Yeah, I'm surprised at the mention of only two players having off-season surgery. Perhaps there were more who had minor surgery and are already back in full training or close to it so they weren't worth singling out.
Jeez. Picken's clearly a determined bastard and doesn't generally yield to the word "no" but if that's still where he's at he may just have to at some point.
Not great to hear about Picko.
We should start planning for the possibility he doesn’t play at all this year. I guess the club already have with our recruitment of a couple of senior footballers who can play forward.
No word on whether we did a time trial today? I know it doesn’t mean much and we haven’t seemed to talk about it in the media the last few years, but I’m always keen to hear who has come back in good condition and surprised.
5 + players back in training
