Boyd given green light to return for Bulldogs
Bruce Matthews - Herald Sun - 27 April
BULLDOGS midfielder Matthew Boyd has received a medical clearance to play against St Kilda on Friday night.
Boyd, who had small metal plate inserted in the top of the hand last week, was today given clearance to train this week.
He has not been guaranteed a place in the side on Friday night but the Bulldogs say he is available for selection. If he gets through training it's hard to imagine last year's best-and-fairest winner being overlooked.

The question is not if he can, but if he should. September is what it's all about. Not worth a risk in April. An extra 3 or 4 days might be important.

I doubt he would play if there was any risk or if his football handling was comprimised at all.
Just heard on SEN that Ross Lyon is hopeful that Farren Ray and Jason Gram will return for the Saints on Friday night.

I would suggest he bandages up the wrong hand, or perhaps both hands.;)
