The moment Bruce attacked the ball with determination in the first quarter and grabbed a strong mark - he was out to prove something to the supporters. I felt we were really on.
3. Seeing Wood leap high and strong for the ball early on - and he did it all game.
2. English knowing exactly where to stalk in the back-line to take an intercept mark - and he did it all game (as well as being dangerous up forward).
1. Daniel's sublime pickup and perfect handball in Q2 (~11:20 in) - and he did it all game.
Rhylee West stealing Macmillan's soul.
When they didn’t pull Cunnington from the final team.
I was very disappointed that Bailey Dale's pick-up through the legs and handball over his head through traffic to Vandermeer didn't get more attention on the coverage. It didn't even get a real replay!!
I agree that West's stripping of the ball was the moment, although I felt very confident once Bruce kicked his goal at halftime (definite free-kick, Tarrant didn't even complain).
Rhylee West - memorable.
There was a soccer kick by Caleb Daniel in the first quarter that hit his team mate perfectly and got the ball moving which I thought was a special moment early in the game. Daniel had a good game but this one would normally not rate much of a mention but I thought it was well worth a mention.
Bruce’s goal just Before half time
This was certainly a great moment and great thinking by Schache to run towards the goals
