Yep. Or trade table. I like where we are sitting right now.

Round 18:
1st Rounder - Pick 7 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 25 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 41 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 43 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 45 - Haw (from)
5th Rounder - Pick 79 - WBD
= 7, 25, 41, 43, 45, 79 (& Duryea for pick 61) (Liveladders End of Season Prediction: 8, 26, 41, 44, 46 & 80)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 45 2019 - equal to just under 1,000 draft points (in play both years) or equivalent to a first round Pick 18 for Adams)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 3 for pick 11 with Adelaide - gap is shrinking)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 7)
Editors note: packaging two of the third round picks (41 & 43) is roughly 824 draft points, or around pick 23 (resulting in maybe pick 28-30 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade (Port Adelaide at pick 28 may be a suitor with their father/sons) to get into the middle of the second round to use or trade with (Port net an extra 147 draft points). So leaving picks 7, 25, 28, 45 & 79 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M++ in cap.
Round 19:
1st Rounder - Pick 10 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 28 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 42 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 44 - Haw (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 46 - WBD
5th Rounder - Pick 80 - WBD
= 10, 28, 42, 44, 46, 80 (& Duryea for pick 62) (Liveladders End of Season Prediction: same)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 44 2019 - equal to about 950 draft points (in play both years) or equivalent to Pick 19 for Adams)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 3 for pick 11 with Adelaide - gap is shrinking)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 10)
Round 20:
1st Rounder - Pick 9 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 27 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 41 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 43 - Haw (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 45 - WBD
5th Rounder - Pick 79 - WBD
= 9, 27, 41, 43, 45, 79 (& Duryea for pick 61) (Liveladders End of Season Prediction: 7, 25, 41, 43, 45, 79)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 43 2019 - equal to about 960 draft points (in play both years) or equivalent to Pick 18 for Adams)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 3 for pick 11 with Adelaide - gap staying shrunken)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 9)
So leaving, on liveladders, picks 7, 25, 28, 45 & 79 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M++ in cap. Much more if Morris, Dicko & Suckling retire. Picks and salary cap to be deliberately very, very aggressive with.
Round 21:
1st Rounder - Pick 9 - WBD
2nd Rounder - Pick 27 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 42 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 44 - Haw (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 45 - WBD
5th Rounder - Pick 81 - WBD
= 9, 27, 42, 44, 45, 81 (& Duryea for pick 63)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 44 2019 - equal to about 960 draft points (in play both years) or equivalent to Pick 18 for Adams)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 3 for pick 10 with Adelaide - gap shrinking again)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 9)
Editors note: packaging two of the third round picks (42 & 45) is 742 draft points, or around pick 25 (resulting in maybe pick 30 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade (Port Adelaide at about pick 30 may be a suitor with their father/sons) to get into the middle of the second round to use or trade with (Port net an extra 113 draft points). So leaving picks 9, 27, 30, 44 & 81 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M++ in cap. Much more if Morris, Dicko & Suckling retire. Picks and salary cap to be deliberately very, very aggressive with.
Round 22:
1st Rounder - Pick 11 - WBD (based on ladder position, not winning any/all finals)
2nd Rounder - Pick 29 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 41 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 45 - Haw (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 47 - WBD
5th Rounder - Pick 83 - WBD
= 11, 29, 41, 45, 47, 83 (& Duryea for pick 65, bargain)
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 44 2019 - equal in draft points (in play both years) to Pick 19)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton currently swapping pick 3 for pick 8 with Adelaide - Huge! The gap shrinking again)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 11)
Editors note: packaging two of the third round picks (41 & 45) is 759 draft points, or around pick 25 (resulting in maybe pick 30 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade (Port Adelaide at about pick 28 may be a suitor with their father/sons) to get into the middle of the round to use or trade with (Port net an extra 82 draft points - might need a smidge more). So leaving picks 11, 28, 29, 47 & 83 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M++ in cap. Much more if Morris & Dicko retire and Williams goes. Picks and salary cap to be deliberately very, very aggressive with.
The dynasty begins.
Round 23 - H&A Finished
1st Rounder - Pick 12 - WBD (based on worst case scenario, I.e. Losing)
2nd Rounder - Pick 30 - WBD
3rd Rounder - Pick 41 - StK (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 46 - Haw (from)
3rd Rounder - Pick 48 - WBD
5th Rounder - Pick 84 - WBD
(& Duryea for Pick 66, bargain)
This surprising run of hot form since the bye has clearly resulted in lower draft picks then we were looking at a couple of months ago. But the red hot form gives us another currency to sell to players and their managers: ongoing success. Which is gold too.
(Marcus Adams: Pick 32 2018, & currently Pick 46 2019 - equal in draft points (in play both years) to Pick 20)
(Other interesting trade: Carlton swapping pick 3 for pick 8 with Adelaide)
(Other interesting note: The proposed Wingard trade was for the 2019 1st - currently pick 12)
Editors note: packaging two of the third round picks (41 & 46) is 744 draft points, or around pick 26 (resulting in maybe pick 30 range). It might be nice if we could find a suitor for a draft points trade (Port Adelaide at about pick 27 may be a suitor with their father/sons) to get into the middle of the round to use or trade with (Port net an extra 31 draft points only, so we need more points but could work at it). So leaving picks 12, 27, 30, 48 & 84 (plus rookie upgrades and/or free agents) and about $1.6M++ in cap. Much more if Morris & Dicko retire and Williams goes. Picks and salary cap to be deliberately very, very aggressive with.
Just a small note:
Essendon being bundled out secures them pick 11 (heading to GWS for Shiel) having finished below us on the ladder.
If we were to lose to GWS our first pick will be pick 12. After our win, I can update the thread after Saturday.
