No, supposedly a mentoring role to help Shaw. If Shaw doesn't return that may well change things.

Cheers Axey.

Yeah, you'd reckon that they'd try and publicize it wouldn't you?
Re: North Melbourne where are they at?
Best wishes to Shaw and his family.
I thought they looked good vs GWS then the wheels fell off.
Has any club had a bigger turnover of players as this?
I know Brisbane were in a fair bit of bother only a few years ago and Fagan has worked wonders.
I do not like Roos & think his coaching prowess is overblown but not sure who else would be right for mentoring role. From article I do not think Shaw will be head coach even with a mentor.

It beggars belief that such an achievement isn't mentioned more often, right?
Re: North Melbourne where are they at?
I feel for Shaw and hope he gets back on track quickly.
North will potentially appoint Paul Roos as interim coach until someone else can be appointed, He will oversee the search for a coach and be a part of list management decisions
Voss or Monty would be good candidates
If North bottom out over 2 or 3 years they should not receive any priority picks because they list management appraoch confirm that this is a strategic direction

Absolutely agreed.
Poor guy must have been feeling a huge amount of pressure.

Isn't it Brady Rawlings? They also have Glenn Luff as list manager, and Scott Clayton working alongside Rawlings in the football department.

One of the more turbulent times at a club, maybe since Phil Walsh was killed? Not on the same level but massively disruptive to the organisation.
I wonder how long North have known and been able to plan for?
Re: North Melbourne where are they at?
Has been confirmed that Rhys Shaw has officially parted ways with North Melbourne.
Re: North Melbourne where are they at?
Hope Rhyce is ok, but you would have to say the selection panel got this very wrong. Will the same people select the next coach?

You'd have a very shallow pool to choose from if you were after a coach without some challenges mentally. Can't tell me Clarko is of sound mind
Re: North Melbourne where are they at?
here's another reason why the free agency system sucks. North are gonna have to pay for Crouch going to the saints. After all of this. They get punished for that move. The system has to change.
