Re: Development is the new recruiting

Fascinating article. It's always interesting to read how the elite teams transition from one trend which catches on (Moneyball recruiting) to the next in order to find an edge.

Yeah. A scrambled handball out of a stoppage with an opponent on your hammer is a much different clearance than hitting it with pace, taking it cleanly and leaving your opponent flat footed. It helps...

Re: WB Game Day V West Coast R11 2019

It's been stoppages where we've been pummelled today, not turnovers. Our midfield group has been putrid for most of the year, and today has been the worst of the lot.

Eagles taking the piss by deliberately reducing their rotations and resting Hurn for the entire quarter.

Harsh. If Hayes got a good run at it, Dale deserves at least one more chance.

Teams allow Hunter off the chain because he does no damage. We let the opposition's most damaging player have free reign. Makes sense.

Dale has probably been the best of the inclusions, but that's only because he's made less glaring mistakes.

Not a fan of Lipinski up the ground, he's slow. Worried for his future.
