I feel we just need to knock out Geelong for the year to be a success.

    Re: Well Ruck Me.

No no I mean do we really need Darcy or can we find a good solid ruckman to suit our needs? I guess I'm undervaluing the ruck role (as Bevo seems to do) rather than Darcy's ability. There is no way...

    Re: Well Ruck Me.

No it's not Naughton and English will be the best forward combination in the competition. Good solid rucks can be found easier than good solid key forwards, and English will be way better than that.

Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs - Ed Richards

It depends on the type of player we want in that position. If we need a defensive minded reliable player to play a more defensive role on a good opposition player we go with Roarke. If we're after...

Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs - Ed Richards

I hope it's wing high half forward. Id like to maximum his speed and running capacity and feel he is a less than reliable kick coming out of defence.
  11. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 14 Vs Geelong 2021

    Yikes!

This is where Wood out really hurts because he could possibly sit on Rohan. I hate the idea of Cordy on Cameron it freaks me out.

    Keath to Hawkins
    Gardner to Cameron
    Williams to Rohan?...

    Re: Bulldogs By the Numbers

I thought Jimmy Edmond was a little low at 82 as well. Terrific, very clever player with real presence.

Mitch Wallis at 66 is a little controversial but I guess all best lists are.
  16. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 14 Vs Geelong 2021

I'm not expecting anything from McLean this year. If he gets into the team and plays well it's a bonus but he needs to re-establish the required match fitness, confidence and touch.

    It just feels...

  20. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 14 Vs Geelong 2021

I wonder whether the loss of Dunkley and Treloar has impacted his game? Perhaps he's been asked to fill the breech and is struggling. We must remember he is still a very young player.

Re: In praise of Jackson Macrae

Awesome player. In my opinion he'd leave a bigger hole than Dunkley or Treloar, but such is his durability we've never really felt the affects of his absence. A fantastic value for money pick.
