Re: Jamarra - How excited are YOU???

I played with Maribyrnong at Digman Reserve for a couple of seasons. At training one night I talked to one of the other guys about legspin for 20 minutes. I learned more about it in those 20 minutes...

Re: Best Win: 1st Half of the Season 2021

Agree with the comments about West Coast. It answered the questions around us against a quality side who really put the squeeze on us and also whether we could stand up late in a game. Also about...

  7. Re: Favourite Moment of the First Half of 2021?

Great quote from Ross Lyon as Bont is having the shot for the sealer "every day of the week, the skipper" I love how he sits back and waits for the peanut gallery to finish speculating about Bont's...

  10. Re: Favourite Moment of the First Half of 2021?

There have been a few highlights but I'm going to say beating North by 100+ points and just plain old beating Essendon. It's always a highlight beating them.

The fighting win (and the captain's...

  12. Re: What happens if you have too many injuries to name a full squad?

The bastard was born in the late 1020s he would have been too young to be captaining the Saints in the 1030s. I was thinking Cnut but he was basically a pagan and only a Christian for show so I don't...

  14. Re: Sign and Trade Period preview: Flag Crow wants out, star Tiger to join rivals

An old friend of mine's daughter plays AFLW. She transferred between two Melbourne clubs just before the virus hit. It's a shame she didn't come to the Bulldogs but at least her new contract got her...

They attached that crest on the front of their jumper after they finished a game V North in the 1030s short of players but still won. After they awarded themselves the crest due to their brave effort...

Re: Assistant coaches merry go round

And what a kick it was! It would be hard for Bucks now that he knows he probably won't coach a team to a flag but it was virtually an impossible shot at goal that cost his team a premiership.

Re: Assistant coaches merry go round

It's like they don't assess team needs when it comes to recruitment but instead they just look for the players who are asking for the most money and go after them. They don't seem to give much...

It's had to tell. I look up a post or information about him and realise halfway through that it talking about Lobb but the article or whatever is referring to him as Lobbbe.
  21. Re: Bulldog Team of the Century 2000-2100: Nominations Open:

Put Caleb Daniel on the bench I reckon. IMO He belongs in the team, I can't think which defender goes out and we can't play him at full forward (even though he's probably find a way to make it work)

I agree. Give me a player who knows where the ball is going to be and gets there in time to get it over players who can run 100:metres in ten seconds any day.

Grundy must be getting an absolute motza. Given his form the ROI they are getting on the money they are paying him sounds pretty lop sided.
