  1. Re: This is our biggest test since October 2016

Ok what works in our favour and not in theirs? I’m yet to see anything go against them this year and it’s continuing.
  2. Re: WB Game Day V Gold Coast Suns R18 2021

Hahaha I’m not watching any more of this.
  3. Re: WB Game Day V Gold Coast Suns R18 2021

I’m hoping so. They seem to have games on 7mate here and my last hotel got all channels except 7mate.
  4. Re: WB Game Day V Gold Coast Suns R18 2021

No I’m in the northern half of qld. Very humid for this time of year though. We had dew points hit around 21 degrees yesterday.
  5. Re: WB Game Day V Gold Coast Suns R18 2021

    It’s glorious up here

Sticky: Re: Injury List - 2021

I'm 99% sure he'll be in. If McLean can come straight back in, then Dunkley certainly can.

Sticky: Re: Injury List - 2021

Surely Dunks is a straight in. No VFL needed. He's been doing full training for 2 weeks and being a shoulder injury (and being him), he'll be at peak fitness.

Re: How Many More Wins Left In The H&A?

I really really hate long-term injuries to any club. Seeing Hipwood go down would be tough for Brisbane fans to see. I can only imagine what it'd be like feeling you're a chance this season and then...

Re: AFL Game Day R17 2021

It's going to be very very close. I did a ladder predictor and had the Bombers and Saints getting the last 2 spots in the 8.

I've also got Dees and Geelong getting 1st and 2nd on equal points....

Saints coming home with a wet sail. They're a strong chance now and who would have thought that after their drubbing against us and then the loss to Adelaide. Bombers right in it too.

Re: Jamarra - How excited are YOU???

And yet as poor as his debut may have been, there were plenty of others who were worse yesterday.

Re: Jamarra - How excited are YOU???

I'm prepared to give him time. You can certainly see the potential with his skills and reflexes. Just needs to get fitter and build confidence. It wasn't the most ideal debut having to come into a...

Re: Jamarra - How excited are YOU???

I saw signs, albeit very small. Did I see number 1 pick, once in a generation player sort of signs? Absolutely not.

His body looks nowhere near fit enough for AFL. Fitness is one thing but his...
  15. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

No I'm saying we bombed it in because our forwards weren't really offering anything. So many times they were all just standing in the same area of the ground. And I can't recall many times where I...
  16. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 18 Vs Gold Coast Suns 2021

    Hooray, another week of Hannan.
  17. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

I think there's certainly fatigue settling in with the group. Despite 2 wins, our last 2 VFL games have been fairly ordinary as well, especially from AFL-listed players.
  18. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

I pretty much judge us based on our last game. I'm not saying I expect the trend to continue, but typically right after a game, you're gonna get emotions and statements that resemble that game.

  19. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

I've been sticking up for Bruce this year but I was very disappointed in him yesterday. Offered us nothing up forward. He's the veteran forward and he needs to play like one.

    Our forward line was...
  20. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 18 Vs Gold Coast Suns 2021

We're effectively playing ZERO ruck without Martin in the side. As far as I'm concerned, English is not a ruckman.
  21. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

It's funny. With all the hype around adding Darcy to our vaunted forward-line, I had thought that area of the ground was covered for a decade. But simply not having Naughton down there made it look...
  22. Re: Three things you've learned. Round seventeen 2021 v Swans of Sydney

Young did some ok things but I don’t like his weak attack at the ball. We can only carry one tall like that and it’s English. Don’t know how the biggest guys out there can be so soft in aerial...

Re: WB Game Day V Sydney Swans R17 2021

It was a very tired effort today. Not sure if we’ve spent all our tickets early or if the injuries have just taken its toll. We’ll see over the next few weeks, but after Brisbane’s loss last night,...
