  1. Re: Your Top 5 best Bulldog players ever (in order)

Yep. Kicked 12 goals in 3 games. His career only ended because of a back injury too.
  2. Re: Your Top 5 best Bulldog players ever (in order)

Don't forget the 12's too BAD.

    1. Ted Whitten...what can I say what hasn't been said. The only Mr. Football in the history of...

Sticky: Re: AFLW - Game Day discussion - Season 2021

Are the players not getting a game with our AFLW playing with our playing VFLW team Hose? When I saw the playing list for the VFLW side I didn't see any AFLW players on it.

He used to do the same when we played against Tony Lockett. Brave man was our Scotty.
  8. Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs Anthony Scott

Good luck to Scotty. He sure has fought for this opportunity.

  10. Re: Bruce McAvaney calls time on AFL commentary career

AS well as commentating on the AFL Bruce was a master horse race caller and his Olympic and Commonwealth games calls were first rate. I for one wish him all the best.

Izzy and Bonny's games and goal kicking was superb. A young side with plenty of improvement still to come.

    Re: Practice Game snippets

Although Brce had only 2 shots at goal both were straight. One a fair way out. Some of his kicks for goal last year were atrocious. It was a strong part of his game when at the Saints. Being fitter...

Re: Our club was born in blood and boots...

The Dees had an 11 point win over Richmond so it will be interesting to see how we go against them next. Not sure when it is played couple of weeks I think.

Gee the racehorse was fast. Also played with Barry Smith on the other wing if I remember correctly when Bryant went to the back pocket. Smith was a talented player too.

Interesting to hear on the broadcast that JJ has been training over summer further up the ground too. Not 100% sure if it was with mids or forwards. Did someone else hear it?

I didn't hear their names called but it doesn't mean they didn't play. The one that impressed me most was young Kellet. Plays similar to his old man. I liked his style.

Number 9 for us from from 1970-76 was Ian "sockeye" Salmon who played 113 games and kicked 36 goals. Centre half forward/second ruck type.
