  1. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 15, Vs Port Adelaide

If you'd have said that Crozier would develop into a better medium defender than Easton Wood, I'd have said you were crazy, but that's the reality.

I really don't see what role Wood actually...

Naughts has had a dirty day but would love our mids to have more faith in going long to him. He's rarely outmarked and is excellent at ground level.

Naughton should be taking a couple of hundred shots at goal a week. His routine looks negligible.

    And it's a 12 point turnaround

    Re: Proactive Poaching

31 year old with a long injury history - I wonder whether Port would be open to doing Hawthorn and letting him go for not much?

I think just training with him daily would be a huge help to Tim...
  8. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 14, Vs Collingwood

Surely it should be a job for Wood? He's a good size and matches up well athletically. The captain hasn't brought much lately, I think it's a good week to tell him to sit in De Goey's back pocket and...
  9. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 14, Vs Collingwood

    Out: Dale, Libba, Williams
    In: Duryea, West, Richards

West to play forward and hopefully bring some forward pressure. Duryea slots into half back and Richards on a wing.

    I'm in the give...
  10. Re: Three things you have learned round 13 2019 v Carlton.

    That's fairly revisionist.

Webb showed some great AFL form as a half back, started developing his midfield craft in the VFL but whenever he was promoted he'd play almost exclusively half forward....

Re: Josh Dunkley - A power Mid in 2019

Deserves the extra coin too. He's our second best mid after Bont.

He's quietly made himself into a 750k a year player in the last 7 weeks.

    Bankers:
-Bont and Dunks - a dynamic duo

    -Lipinksi - a huge step forward. He's...

Howard's really highly rated by Port, he'd be a difficult one to extract. I wonder whether Clurey might be more gettable? Victorian boy and a pretty decent stopper.

  40. Re: Robbo: Why ‘Miracle Man’ Luke Beveridge remains an enigma

It's absolutely a failure of the media team at the club, too. We're living in 2019 - having more than a token presence in the media is part of the job for a senior coach, whether they like it or not....
