Re: When things aren’t always as they seem

Roughead as a defender reminded me of Lewis Young, got lost all the time. He was also very slow, too easy to outmark on the lead. He's a good contested mark when it's bombed in and he has time to get...

    Re: Woofer’s football career

Only played school footy. Was a good athlete but hopeless as a footballer, couldn't kick, didn't know where to run, but give me the ball and I was off!

I think having to look at it that way to justify the Hamling trade shows you're reaching

We lost out on Hamling, and did well with Crozier, but I don't see them as one transaction. Very dangerous...

  12. Re: It's been a tough season so far in 2019 but........

That comes across as a bit disrespectful

That was from our game against them, 80 marks to them 63 to us

Naughton is our only tall averaging over 4 marks per game
  13. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 11, Vs West Coast Eagles

Going to guess McLean & Naughton, in response to this post at the bottom of the previous page
  14. Re: It's been a tough season so far in 2019 but........

Geelong go slow because they have so much marking power, they don't need to take risks with the ball to move it down the field and score. They have multiple elite mids and a big gap between their...

Continuing to pay the salary of a player currently under contract with us after trading him to another club, in order to secure a higher draft pick in return than would otherwise be the case
