    Re: Football Commentators

I tweeted ch7 about this very issue. Not only did they screw up the first goal call, but Bont was referred to as Captain, and 5 mins before qtr time it was "game on" - presumably because their...

    1. The Dogs seem to play well when I'm not there.
    2. Cordy could still offer something
    3. Talk of Matt Suckling being cooked was completely overblown. He was great tonight.

Apparently 22 points after one quarter is a monster lead. We were awful, Brisbane weren't that good. I'm not waving the white flag just yet.

I'm loathe to criticise Baz, there are plenty others ahead of him for potting. He's in his first year.

    B

    Dale - I honestly didn't realise he'd kicked 5. Great effort.
Dicko - When all around him were poo, he looked likely.
B.Smith - not his best game, but we can build around him.

  25. Re: Bulldogs, Destination Club: What have we done ????

Melbourne haven't won a premiership in 55 years, their "sustained period of success" is more than a generation ago. Carlton at least is more recent, but neither have the benefit of successful runs.

There have been two deliberate OOB paid, and at least 3 others that could have been but weren’t . I’d hate to have to play with the unpredictability of the umpiring.
