Poll: Re: The Treloar trade : a retrospective

    Lobb?

My understanding is agents float them to list managers during the season.

Poll: Re: The Treloar trade : a retrospective

I think Port identified a list gap and put in the leg work to get it across the line.
I hope we were at least in the conversation.

See if you can work this out (Brown trade)

    I think he's a westy too.

Have to say I thought he was a dud at the Suns I definitely wouldn't have wanted him over Treloar.

Agree, I can imagine in the GF (from what I've heard of the game) he would've been pretty handy when they had that run on.

2MP would certainly fill that second ruck / forward role perfectly.

Poll: Re: The Treloar trade : a retrospective

For me, considering the biggest list hole we have is that intercept defender I'd have traded out Dunkley and traded in Aliir.
We probably didn't have the draft capital without moving on Dunks,...

    A had a poll! It didn't work :(

Maybe a mod can fix it for me.

    It was

    1. Trade for Aliir Aliir
    2. Trade for Tom Hickey
    3. Trade for Peter Wright
    4. Trade for Ben Brown

Poll: The Treloar trade : a retrospective

    It's October 2020.

We've just been blown out of the finals in a pretty insipid performance against the Aints at the Gabba.

We've got the number 1 pick through the NGA in my main man Marra about...

I believe we front loaded his contract too to help out the pies so they probably still owe him a heap.

So we are probably paying most of his contract so far.

For the player should it matter where the money comes from?

He's not providing 900k a year influence is my point.

He should be getting best on more than he does.

However is this because we've shoehorned him to a role that doesn't suit him because he was...

Can we go in the middle somewhere?

He’s not a 900k per season player with his present output.

He is probably in the top 2 or 3 money earners on the list and in the 10-15 range for influence /...

Well yes that's a different issue and totally agree there.

    We had Lipinski too.

I assume Bevo likes him as he's good at the stoppage and turnover game.

Re: WB Game Day V Brisbane Lions R16 2022

I'm not sure what Treloar's best role is. We've shoehorned him into a mid forward role and I'm not convinced that's his best spot.

    I'd go super defensive.

    Libba is a lock.
    Dunkley is a lock.

    Then it gets hard.

Bont and Macrae I'm not sure if I trust them defensively as much as the two above.

  28. Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 17 V Sydney At The SCG On Friday Night

I'm not his biggest fan, but I thought he was ok late and kept working hard all game.

He certainly butchered it early, however he's played 10 games or so he wasn't the issue.

    In : McLean, English, Richards
    Out : Weightman, Sweet, Williams

I think Weightman needs a spell. Otherwise McComb but he actually played ok later in game.
Hunter is taking Williams' wing spot.

He copped a big high hit very early in a contest on the wing. Think he was being checked for concussion.
