Will this converter be someone that can immediately come into the team to make us better Comrade, or someone that will have to learn their defensive craft at VFL level for a year ? I understand your...
  3. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 8 Vs Carlton 2021

If Lew Young gets dropped after one game for not performing to team expectations, KPI’s or whatever you want to call them, then the majority of our midfield should’ve missed a lot of games too over...

I’d say McDonald will go back and they’ll use Brown now.

I agree re: lever and May. Both were great, and that was on the back of our brilliant midfield on the day. Demons will be a lot stronger,...

    Re: 2021 Trade Target/s

That’s what I’m saying Bornadog...I rate Moore and if there was any chance, we should go for it. We have 2 missing pieces to our team...a “Moore” type FB and a “Tippa/Cameron/Kosi” type quick fwd.

    Re: 2021 Trade Target/s

Regarding backs...we need someone who can take the bigger FF’s of the competition.
Atm we don’t have a defender that would makes me think “they won’t kick 5 today”.

    There’s a reason that when...

I also like the look of that team Mantis.
  10. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 8 Vs Carlton 2021

It’s unfortunate our best backman is playing FF.

Keath should be lapping it up like Lever, but is forced to play more as a FB/CHB due to our lack of options. Cordy is almost done in 2021 version...

Is it CHB or more a FB we require Comrade. I’m all for Moore. Imagine him at FB, Naughton CHB and Keath the 3rd tall/interceptor. That would make Gardner/Cordy/young playing VFL where they deserve to...

Well to start with, I’d be putting a hard tag on Walsh and one on Saad.
Not even thinking of McKay, cause we don’t have really anyone I’m confident in to play on him.

I agree, so let’s see what role the MC/coach decides to warrant his selection, and hopefully he turns into the player we are all hoping.

No doubt, Carl will push up their half forwards to give McKay a pagans paddock, trying to get him one out on his opponent.

Melb’s pressure has gone up more than a few notches, and NM starting to crack under pressure. Fumbling, erratic handballs etc. Melb should go on to win fairly easy now.

At one stage it was 16-0 inside 50’s in that 3rd qtr, so why wasn’t Naughton pushed down there to give us an Avenue of someone who could take a contested mark?
