  1. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 8 Vs Carlton 2021

    Agree. That is his spot
  2. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 8 Vs Carlton 2021

I don't. From what I have seen of Khamis in the VFL I am concerned at how exposed he will be at AFL level. For all Khamis' athletic ability (and he has a lot), he cannot read the play. Hence he is...

Re: Time to pull the Liam Jones move.

Moving Bruce to the backline is robbing Peter to pay Paul. Schache either makes it as a forward and forces the issue or he doesn't. Trying him as a defender is a good idea, but to me between Keath...

Re: WB Game Day V Richmond R7 2021

Late to the analysis as I spent yesterday wandering around legoland with the phone radio tuned to MMM/ABC/SEN/3AW - I changed it around a lot). Kind of surreal to be on the otherwise of the world...

I think this is a fair call on all the guys who were brought in. No surprise that Lippa was the only one to have an impact.

Re: WB Game Day V Richmond R7 2021

Mine is more of the fact that I keep tipping against the Dogs and we keep winning so why change a winning method (or losing depending on how you look at it). That said, I cannot see the Tigers...
  8. Re: Where does JJ fit into the 2021 Bulldogs team?

Wing/HF for mine. Agree though I have him as a tradeable player. Will interest a couple of teams that lack pace.
  9. Re: Where does JJ fit into the 2021 Bulldogs team?

That was my thought. Everyone assumes that we'll replace Dunks with a Lippa or a West, but I think Smith is a better option. The wing opens up and that means JJ or Hunter assumes that role. Left...

  11. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 7 Vs Richmond 2021

From what I saw in the VFL game he is not ready and certainly not ready to play is the No.2 tall.
  12. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 7 Vs Richmond 2021

I don't believe that Khamis is ready. Not against the Tigers. Not with the outs we have.

Schache is a maybe, though I can see Sweet playing, if just to confirm his development.

    I would be...

    Re: 2021 Trade Target/s

Do we really need another tall defender? I mean tonight we had Zaine and Keath with Wood playing the midsized tall. We have Gardner injured, Lewy Young in the 2's and Bhuku Khamis developing. I'm...

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs - Patrick Lipinski

These are the stats that matter for Lippa. Given he is playing as a high half forward, these are decent numbers. A little like Scott and McNeil he did his part.

Re: AFL Game Day R5 2021

I think Melbourne are the standouts. We are travelling beautifully and can't really fault us, but I think Melbourne are the team this year to beat. Dynamic is the term I would use.
  34. Re: Always Right Match Committee - Round 6 Vs Giants 2021

For me McNeil's been great, but I wonder whether he is feeling it a little and could do with a freshen up? Looked like he was running under the ground at stages.

    Sticky: Re: Player Contract Status

Will be interested in the approach to these guys in 2021:

    Ed Richards: 2021
    Zaine Cordy: 2021
    Mitch Wallis: 2021
    Pat Lipinski: 2021

I suspect that they may end up being makeweight players...

Re: How to revitalise your playing list

Yep. Its about getting rid of deadwood early. Small to mid-Draftees have 3 to 4 years to nail it - if they are not pressuring for spots in their 4th year then they are not likely to make it. Talls...
