    Lewis Young

THE MOVE to Carlton didn't just help Lewis Young's footy.

An introvert by nature, Young remembers his first days in navy blue as understandably intense. There were new names to...

Treloar in some doubt for the game against the Swans. Came off with hamstring tightness.
The 8 day break might work for us.

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022

For sure, and on paper he's a good fit for us. I'm not sure why but I'm still cautious about him.
Looking at it a bit closer he's more or less Fremantle's number one goal kicking key forward or...

Re: WB Game Day V Brisbane Lions R16 2022

I wonder if we have been concerned about using him in that manner given it might make him more of a flight risk.
He should be doing more defensive roles for us but I think believe we have been...

Good point, I think he is been given extra credits by some for his ability to ruck.

Same for me, he should have some credits in the bank but he's typically been the fall guy when we have put in a shocker.

Re: WB Game Day V Brisbane Lions R16 2022

While I think we have a great midfield I'm not sure we use them the right way. There isn't enough of the defensive aspect that we need to use at times. I mentioned during the trade period...

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022

I think that is the point, it closes down options for the younger forward like Marra and Darcy although we probably have the same problem when Hannan returns,

He went there for money, GWS couldn't pay what Fremantle could.
  13. Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 17 V Sydney At The SCG On Friday Night

Not a great deal but he's been the sub and around the mark for most of the season. A decent game with Footscray I think puts him back into the mix.
  14. Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 17 V Sydney At The SCG On Friday Night

Not sure with the ins and outs yet but Garcia and McNeil might be in the mix. Perhaps Cordy as well.

We are really on the business end of a pants down spanking.

The disappointing part is that the work we did to build a competitive percentage is being eroded in a big way.

Wouldn't that mean he spends more time forward?
Darcy and Jackson splitting the ruck duties and Hackson and Lobb up forward gives them some marking power.

That sounds a reasonable number. With Bruce coming back it begs the question of what happens with the development of Marra and Schache?

I don't quite get why Freo couldn't match that.

Yep, a "lets go Josh" would have been sufficient.

We've been a bit too Colonel Flagg with our training sessions for a while now.
  39. Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 16 V Brisbane At The GABBA On Thursday Night

While it seems an overreaction I can see why a closed training session is treated seriously.

If Richmond had won that game would it have so much vigor behind it?
