Re: Premiership hero Dickson calls time

Dickson just did the fundamentals of the game so well. He wasn't winning us over with freakish dribble goals from impossible angles but week after week he chased and tackled hard and was just deadly...

For a player that many were skeptical with our recruiting team for selecting he performed at a high level for a long time

SUNS REMAIN ‘OPEN-MINDED’ OVER FORMER TOP-10 PICKS

Gold Coast has confirmed two former top-10 draft picks are up for grabs in the trade period.

But rivals will need to be prepared if they want...

  6. Re: I hate the St Kilda Matchup - Tell me how we win this game???

Does the challenge for Tim English get any bigger than against the Saints rucks of Ryder and Marshall?
The great part for English is he is coming off a great performance against Darcy and Lobb so he...
  7. Re: I hate the St Kilda Matchup - Tell me how we win this game???

If he has a good game against the Saints it will go a long way towards a victory for us. He really needs to shop early against his old team and nail a goal or two

Re: All Australian squad of 40

It's an excellent point but the AFL probably want to keep the president of the PA happy
I think he's an almost permanent fixture in the AA selection process if he plays enough games

Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020 Ed Richards 20

I'm still a huge fan of what Richards can bring us however, his best football seems to be when played as a defender and we appear determined to use him as a forward/midfielder

    His pace and kicking...

It's going to need a bit of a miracle for us to be able to land someone like Macrae
Outside of Ugle-Hagan our next picks are likely to be late in the 3rd round

I just had a quick check, the average scoring effort for the forwards selected is just a combined 8 goals

Wouldn't you expect the best of the best to score a bit more heavily?
