Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020

I'm all for any personnel changes that leads to Naughton going back to the position he'll have the most positive impact on our overall performance which is in defence.

Re: Memorable Bulldog Moments by Individuals.

Hard to think of a Bulldogs player that was so good for us on field for so long, that completely ruined his legacy with one off field decision.

When I hear the name Ryan Griffen, I can hardly...

Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020

There's probably no good reason Sweet can't develop into the sort of competitive battle axe that can at least half a contest with the opposition ruckman. He showed a bit in his hit out against North.

Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020

Let's time travel to 5 years in the future.

We have Marra at full forward, English at CHF, Young at CHB and Naughton at FB. I could live with that.

Would need to find a ruckman somewhere along...

I'm not sure what is worse. The fact that he stole them in the first place, or that he was dumb enough to brag to the bloke he unknowlingly ripped off.

Fair enough, no point getting into it when it's obvious you've got no interest in having a mature discussion on the topic.

  17. Re: Coronavirus: could the 2020 AFL season be called off?

If there is a silver lining to this mess, it's that we are being forced to look at what we have and what we've taken for granted and appreciate it a hell of a lot more.

Re: The Best Ever Stolen Match

Sydney 2016 when JJ kicked the winner with about 5 seconds left. We hung with them all day but never quite looked like pulling ahead, until we did.

Re: Three things I've learned R1 V Collingwood

It's a societal issue. I just finished reading a book called Iron John about the devolution of masculinity in modern society, our playing group is a good example of it.

Re: The Moment, Rnd 1 2020 vs Collingwood

The complete capitulation by English within the first 5 minutes.

Dude needs to take a shot of concrete or else he'll end up just being a good average player when he could be so much more.
  30. Re: Coronavirus: could the 2020 AFL season be called off?

Players wouldn't high five after goals (not that the Bulldogs had to worry about it too much) yet they'd tackle the opposition. Just weird to watch.
  31. Re: Always Right Match Committee thread Rd 2 vs Carlton

Naughton gets one more week forward, if our backline crumbles again, hes going back.

Id probably turf Lloyd and replace with Weightman, just for that putrid short step he took.
