I absolutely believe it to be system related and it may be as simple as having everybody onboard to make the system work.
What I do know is that to keep doing what we are doing hoping for a...
Agree
Having watched a few of the televised VFL, Darcy looks to be an excellent use off both sides by foot.
Is there any team that gives up more goals from Centre Clearance.
We are abominable when we don't get the clearance and mostly problematic when we do.
Oliver might have had a lot of it but his ball use was atrocious
Thought the loss of Bailey replaced by Fort was crucial.
The loss probably elicits a strong response also
Port definitely a strong chance, but Brisbane should really best Carlton at the Gabba
I agree that it is food for thought, but crediting Finlayson with the reason for them winning clearances is a huge stretch.
I get that he has been able to get possessions, but the analysis of stats...
I did say he can run fast.
Hoping at some point that he finds a second skill of some sort.
He is one of the few players with genuine foot speed.
The actual meaningful stat is in those 8 weeks they are 3 and 5, when they really needed to be winning.
This does not excite me. He has been somewhat underwhelming since injury in the VFL.

We have often queried the value of Champion Date ratings and tend to align how we feel when we see where our players are rated.
Any system that can rate Jeremy Finlayson as the 6th best player in...
Who does David Munday play for ... oh you mean David Mundy.....(sorry BAD, but you do pick up a few who spell players names incorrectly)

Can a Melbourne player get reported if they take out Steven May?
As it stands I am only really concerned with us.
We beat Geelong and the other results lose their relevance.
Although I am strongly on Freo to give the Heave Ho to Melbourne. I want that stupid...
Don't be concerned Mantis.
There may be similarities, but there is no 2006 version of West Coast around.
If we take care of business, everyone need to be concerned about us.
Bevo's first 2 years really show that coaches should develop a plan to suit the list, rather than demand a list that suits the plan.
Not sure the list manager can identify that in advance.
It seems we have brought in a few that the coach wanted, with Tim O'Brien the latest. Jackson Trengove seemed that way but lost favour.
That...
Surely one of the problems for the list manager is the reluctance of the coach to play certain players.
I am in the camp that Sam Power has done what we have expected of him to a highly competent...
Where did they get the Stef Martin action cutout.
It looks so realistic it makes you actually think he can run.
Strongly Strongly Disagree.
The initial tackle was not high. Pickett made it slip up by his action and it looked way worse than it actually was.
In attempting to evade the legal tackle I...

English actually had the better of Gawn overall in round 1
Getting Grundy and playing him CHB would be such a Bevo thing to do.
I hear you and this becomes a real chance to prove everyone wrong by really bringing our best.
My confidence is about where you are with your prediction.
To have any chance Bont, Libba and...
Only issue is that they have them and seemingly their better players rarely miss games.
Not sure why there are calls for Hannan out. Feel that he really contributed.
My changes
In Naughton, Schache, Hunter
Out Sweet, McNeill and Williams
This is where I think we need to be proactive.
There is no doubt Dale gets a hard tag, but swapping him with JJ early could bring the tactic undone.
I would be inclined to start Dale as a deep...
Would say it is the quietest season of his career, but I think he has been better than his tally indicates. We expect a lot from him and his down season is probably a reason for our ladder position....
I'm not saying it is my choice, but probably Keath for King with Gardner to play on Membrey, who is too good in the air for either of the Baileys.
Sainters have lost their last 3 and it is a stretch to rank them as a good side. They have their days but we cover them easily for talent.
We bring the effort we win, but I don't have any...
We are doing much the same with Schache.

I am sort of expecting Schache to get the job of playing on the resting ruck.
It seems an ideal assignment to justify his exclusion for the rest of the year.
If we look at what Darcy has done at Footscray, he has performed best as ruck/forward.
When he played back he was not winning 1x1 contests and was too slow against leading forwards.
If he is...
Schache played back in the first half against Adelaide.
Swung forward after half time to kick 2 goals and was rewarded by getting dropped to Footscray.
Pretty hard to have any confidence after last week.
Unless we bring some heat we will get smashed.
Despite that we are capable of winning by plenty, we just don't know what we will get.
