  1. Re: Three things you have learned-round 18 v St Kilda 2019

We had two injuries so that was the minimum.
  2. Re: Bankers and Anchors; Rnd 18, 2019 vs St. Kilda

    Bankers

    1. Dale, 5 goals - needs to keep it up
    2. Dickson, back to dangerous best with 4
    3. Wood, 10 marks

    Anchors

    1. What was Dunks thinking when he marked directly in front.

  4. Re: Three things you have learned-round 18 v St Kilda 2019

    1. Bailey Dale dropped to the VFL, worked hard and it paid off, maybe I was wrong about him
    2. Naughton needs to put on some muscle
    3. We need to learn to defend better when a team is on a roll...

How do you know he has the final say? In any case, he is accountable for the team performance. We played better football when players found form and were promoted.

  16. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 18, Vs St Kilda

Dale turns 23 in a few days so he has had his chances. His last two games were woeful, but hopefully he can take his opportunity on Sunday.

    True.

    Bont ready to go.
  18. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 18, Vs St Kilda

I don't known how Dale gets a gig. I would love to have seen West get his first game.

    JJ- Trengove - Duryea
Wood - Cordy (no choice here) - Crozier

    Where would you play Tomlinson?
  37. Re: Are You Sick Of The Afl Changing Rules Every Year

Rule changes began in earnest not long after 1993, with one of the most significant being Prior Opportunity which was tweaked in 1996 and is now a farce.

Meddling with tackling is the last straw.

Every generation is growing and growing. The new FF are 200cm plus. When Morris started, 191 was okish, but let's face it he even struggled on the big boys as the years went on.
  39. Re: Are You Sick Of The Afl Changing Rules Every Year

Well if any changes are made on the number of tackles, I am just about done with this sport.

AFL wants to cut back on tackling

The AFL is being run by morons

    Re: Proactive Poaching

That is correct, we don't need another player the same size as a Cordy.

BTW: There is only 1 cm difference in height, not 3cm. Check the club sites.
