Carey. Was a gun CHF and gun CHB when required - Could play multiple roles. Young captain. Carried North. Two time premiership player. Should've been 3 or 4. A main strategy was simply isolating the...

I wonder if he signs at Northern Blues hoping for a shot next year. Or comes home to Footscray and plays with mates.

Strong relationship with many elite pies players??? Hopefully.

Seems to be in line with our off field recruiting strategy. Which is working well.

    Re: Round 1 2016 team

Looking for stats on Marcus Adams debut in Round 1, 2016 I read the team sheet and realised again just how much change we've had in four years to our best 22 for Round 1. A 50% turnover.

    11...
  6. Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Alex Keath

The best I can come close to is Marcus Adams, although he was at the time 23yo with 15 disposals (6 intercepts) at 93%, 1 Rebound 50 and 8 marks.

Who was then replaced by Keath the next off-season...

Re: Marsh Cup 2020 - Bulldogs vs North

    Going ahead:

Naughton & Keath would be a formidable KPD pairing with supreme marking power, with Crozier/Wood/Cordy/Le Young/La Young/Khamis/Raak etc. as support.

    Schache, Bruce & Ugle-Hagan as...

Re: Marsh Cup 2020 - Bulldogs vs North

No. I think he is still very much a work in progress, but he did some nice things though. A 35m pass lace out to a leading Le Young was a thing of beauty. I think Trengove should be #2 if/when Tim is...

Re: Marsh Cup 2020 - Bulldogs vs North

    Pretty much mind too.

It was a small sample but I’d have Wally ahead of Dicko for the next game. Up until the last few minutes Dicko had one kick for the game. I thought he was one forward that...
  13. Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Alex Keath

When did we last debut a traded 28yo KPD who had 16 disposals (9 intercept) at 94% efficiency, 5 Rebound 50’s and 9 Marks?

    Never?

Re: Marsh Cup 2020 - Bulldogs vs North

Keath: 9 disposals - 6 of them intercept (at 89%). 4 rebound 50’s. 5 marks, 1 contested. By my count, one goal kicked on him.

    Setting expectations high.

Re: Marsh Cup 2020 - Bulldogs vs North

Agree for the most part, yep. I’d like to see some cooler heads and cleaner exiting D50 too. Gifting repeat entries is less than ideal. Goal kicking I guess too. Not a bad first hour of 2020.

Re: Alex Keath set to open

I’m sure it’s in another thread, but I feel for Lin. He works his arse off, gets back and gets knocked down again. Then repeat. It’d be nice if he had things go his way for a while.

  27. Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs: Matt Suckling

He was horrible as a half forward last year. But very good as a half back. I'm not a fan of this.

  28. Re: AFL considering a State of Origin revival to support victims of Australia’s bushfire crisis

Ok. Three is way better than 6. Good to see the 'big' clubs have gun players dominating the squads.

And I hope we can tag JJ out of the game. Go Vics!
  30. Re: AFL considering a State of Origin revival to support victims of Australia’s bushfire crisis

3 player cap, per club wasn’t it?

I hope it’s a great game and FFS no injuries.
