Re: So, we are off to the GC hub

We are still a genuine chance of winning this if we embrace the unknown. Great test for our ability to inspire the playing group

Why not, it's been discussed by the AFL? The talk is the salary cap will go to just over 6M

    Re: The Departure Lounge 2020

I suspect we need to get the list down to minimum of 32 or more likely 31 and then either trade or draft 3/4 players

If that is the case there isn't a lot of room for sentiment

    Based on Axemans...

  10. Re: What are we lacking? What do we need most to progress in 2021?

I can't see us using Trengove much going forward and if that is the case we need to find someone capable of filling a couple of roles

  11. Re: What are we lacking? What do we need most to progress in 2021?

An emerging tall defender who can run would bolster our defensive stocks

A midfielder who can switch between uncompromising defensive duties and attacking roles

    A back-up ruckman/tall forward

Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020 Fergus Greene 30

I think the recruitment of Weightman and maybe Garcia are challenging for him as well but you might be correct.
Greene has ability but he has to impress for the balance of the season and stay healthy
  13. Re: Always Right Match Committee Vs Carlton Round 6 2020

Tackled his opponent around the waist but there was medium impact with the player coming off the ground.
It's close but he should not get a week

Re: So, we are off to the GC hub

Will our players that have injuries where they might be missing for 4 weeks or more be better served by doing their rehab at the club or going to the GC hub along with their team mates?
  16. Re: Always Right Match Committee Vs Carlton Round 6 2020

He wouldn't be my preference. Butler makes sense but with Wood coming back we are chock full of defenders
  17. Re: Always Right Match Committee Vs Carlton Round 6 2020

If you look at the emergencies for the North game then Gowers must be a big chance

While I know where this is headed :) what about the 3 tall forwards Bevo promised us?
  19. Re: Always Right Match Committee Vs Carlton Round 6 2020

I would suggest both Smith and Vandermeer will miss and Bevo flagged that Ling struggled through the game

So, in Hunter, Suckling and Hayes/Weightman
