If Treloar plays half back under the new rules he'll get 50 possies.
  5. Re: WB Game Day V Melbourne - 2021 AAMI Community Series

Someone who can run and kick Vandermeer preferably but they seem to like him forward

  8. Re: Your Top 5 best Bulldog players ever (in order)

No but you must have lived through their era as a supporter to have a sense of the impact they had at the club (as opposed to hearing about how good they were for instance).
  9. Your Top 5 best Bulldog players ever (in order)

The Brian Royal thread got me thinking about who would be in my top 5 list of best Bulldog players, and why. This is a tougher question than I thought. If you had to name your best 5 players who...

Agreed. And as has been showed above all of ours have been rookies and there are limited spaces even there. I may be confusing a player that cracks in with the OP that wants players who play to win...

Like a team of Dylan Addisons? So you'd potentially forego a player with better skills for example than one who just cracks in? Having both in spades is like finding the pebble you just threw into...

    This is really interesting.

Kids are becoming increasingly complex today and I do not begrudge the coach who has to turn skilful, nice players into win at all costs contested animals. Players...

Re: Our club was born in blood and boots...

Is this thread inferring the players don't care enough to try or is it simply comparing 1990s football to 2021 football?
  15. Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs Anthony Scott

I'd rather throw a big tackle bag inside D50 and hope one of their forwards trip over it.

Bailey Dale is looking really good. Is he out of contract this year? If he is it could be a big year.

We ned to play him in his best position to maximum our asset and ensure we have maximum collateral during trade negotiations at the end of this year.

Poll: Re: Rating our list 2020 Lewis Young 2

Reads the ball wonderfully through the air and can play forward. A keeper and we must play him in front of Gardner.

That definitely happened. He was a fantastic lead up forward for us and actually played CHF on a number of occassions. Would have loved a Bob forward and back.

Would not surprise me if Martin rucks greater than 80% game time. Not every week, but when he plays he's on the field the majority of the match.

The kick the goal club. Critical that we convert better considering the chances we give ourselves to score.
