    Re: 2019 AFL Finals Series

Didn't watch it. National holiday here tomorrow and had to work both Saturday and Sunday before it starts.
Only just read the score today!

I remember Stephen Thomson's former country club coming out and saying he never used to be like that in the lower leagues.
    Some people want the spotlight.

This is great reading. Probably would have been a national champion at something as an athlete. Extremely skilled. Durable as hell. Offered the selectors great stability.

Re: Damien Barrett what's his agenda ?

Well said WD45 . It's astounding to me that with all it's drum bashing about reconciliation, AFL media does not have ( am I right? ) an indigenous presenter on it's books, or someone who has worked a...

On Benell, I'm not sure eastern state journalists have done indigenous footy much justice in recent times. I'd like to know more about footy up there. Mangrook is great fun.

Re: Welcome to the WBFC - Bailey Dale

Well done for sticking to your guns. I was wrong in my perception of him.
He looks a player but always question marks over simple things. But when you kick goals it shuts everyone up.

Re: Brisbane were ready for us.

Re: WB Game Day V Brisbane R20 2019

The thing about Bont is, if he does miss he immediately tries to get it back. Can see the hunger to make up for it. But others don't seem to have that ability. Dickson's dribble made me want to cry....

Hunter provides options and gut running, that's true. But I get so frustrated because he often gets the ball, then tries some party-trick only to undo the chain. He looks a million bucks until the...

Re: WB Game Day V Brisbane R20 2019

When we got it close to the 50, one could tell with certain players, confidence was not there to slot it.
Dickson butchered the ball all day, Easton coughed it up, senior players, very annoying.
  30. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 21, Vs Essendon

Good points. Captains simply don't hand over the ball like he is doing at the moment. It's demorsalizing.
  31. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 21, Vs Essendon

That depends on who he would play against. Against Essendon I think we could get away with replacing Cordy with Williams
He's taller than McGrath and Snelling.
But really, I am just super...
  32. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 20, Vs Brisbane

Flashes of brilliance. Doesn't impact the game enough. Did lay a pretty good running tackle from memory to stop them out of 50. Like to see him do more of that. Certainly very quick. Doesn't always...
  33. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 21, Vs Essendon

Can't be worse than Cordy at the moment or Trengrove. Jackson and Zaine both look really down on confidence with the ball in hand. Williams took the game on a fair bit last time. Encouraged by what I...
