By the end of his career, will Jacko go down as one of the all time Bulldog greats? I think so.

And for Essendon, they've gone the opposite route over the last 15 years and only kept 10 players who are ready to contribute.

I reckon even Brucey would be begging Bevo to play him at Footscray by that point.

Who wants to scour each list and find Ekers in the following categories:

    Sub 180cm
    180-189cm
    190-199cm
    200cm+

Looks like we'll be taking up to 2 players in the main draft, and then leaving up to 4 spots for rookies who slip through.

I can't imagine the AFL is keen on a protacted legal battle with Peter Gordon involved. This will get resolved somehow but what a freaking mess. Just proves once again the AFL is a bush league.

Roarke Smith, Hayes & Cavarra have been delisted. We've committed to re-drafting Smith, wait and see what we do with the other two.

    Re: Ekers

Ruckman have such an advantage in the Eker rankings, we almost need a separate 'sub 200cm' category to reward those not blessed with being tall (yet uncoordinated). Something like a Pound for Pound...
  14. Re: Recruiting Treloar and Martin? Have we done the right thing?

2016 was blessed in a lot of ways. Clay having a clear run at it for a brief time was one of those blessings.
  15. Re: Treloar as an outside mid - Please explain.

I donít want Dunkley anywhere near the ruck because itís stupid, but I also resent the fact that he used it as an excuse to try and score himself a payday at that ****hole of a club.

    Re: Our 2021 bolter

Unfortunately the club forgot to bring the video camera to QLD so we didn’t get any footage, but I like the vibes around Garcia. Really hope he’s training with the forwards group over pre-season.
  19. Re: Recruiting Treloar and Martin? Have we done the right thing?

Im not smart enough to debate the pros and cons but what I do know is our midfield cohort wasn’t getting it done when it mattered (ruck included) so I can’t see the downside of adding some new...

  23. Re: Are You Sick Of The Afl Changing Rules Every Year

Zones are the antithesis of what Aussie Rules is all about - a chaotic 360 degree game where the players can run anywhere (within reason).

I'm still hopeful that we have players on the list that can make a good fist at both these roles.

    Re: List Management for 2020/21

The list has potential to be very good but I agree with you, lots of gaps and we're relying on plenty of ifs, buts and maybes.

    IF English reaches his potential.

Perfect. This means we can sell off pick 26 for multiple later picks (for example Hawthorn who have 45, 46 & 49) and we'll more than cover a bid at pick 1.

So not only do we get access to one of...
