  1. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

I get that, but he's listed at 193cm on other websites (including footywire) as I suggested.

My example of Lewis being listed at 201cm on club websites as opposed to 197cm on footywire is smelly.
  2. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

I know we don't want to go down this path as it's been done to death, but do we trust the WB website to be correct (think Lewis Young) given Zaine is listed at 193, and seems about that size, on...

    Re: AFL 360 - A Running Commentary

Didn't Ross say pre-PF that Port would win & win easily? Changed his tune.

Did he share insight on why he thought we would win?
  5. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

Lots of good content here jee and I feel we are well covered for lots of situations that the game will throw at us. I really think we will back our core midfield group (Macrae, Bont & Libba) to go...
  6. Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread

Our points against ave in the H&A was 68.2, however when the combination of Keath & Gardner were our key defenders it dropped to 58.8... however I assume this would include the game against Nth in Rd...
  7. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

Yep, if we play well enough it shouldn’t matter and we should be able to hide Zaine away, but the ability for me to tolerate Zaine being caught out of position at a crucial time and costing us a goal...

After reading this the need to vomit hasn’t been lessened.

Time to go set up the rocking chair and put the straight jacket on.
  9. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

I don’t get the fascination with Cordy going forward. He isn’t good in that role. And whilst he was competitive at ground level in 2016, he doesn’t have the same agility now as he did then.

    And I...

  11. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread - 2021 AFL Grand Final vs Melbourne

I was feeling super positive about our chances… this rumour doesn’t help with keeping up those positive vibes.

    Can someone check on comrade?

  14. Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread

It's pretty insulting to our team that this is the path the ''media experts'' go down, but I think it is the easy road and analyzing the game as it should to determine how each side can win the game...

    Re: AFL 360 - A Running Commentary

The dis-crediting of our performance really shits me... we were awesome and for every Port fumble there was a Bulldogs player being clean, efficient & clinical. Sides don't win PF's by 70pts in enemy...

I like Max… doesn’t take himself seriously and seems like a ripping bloke.

Not his fault he plays with a number of tools.

Is there anyone in the footy world who is more in love with himself than Christian?
  20. Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread

Based on evidence what's more likely to happen? Gawn goes on a tear like the PF or Bont has 25 and kicks a couple? Have we lost a game this year when that happens?
  21. Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread

I know we have no reason not to be confident, but I'm really interested to see how many of the ''experts'' pick us to win... just read an article on ESPN and we went 0-4 there.

    Apparently Melb...

Oh, well… we have a bigger prize on Saturday to go and win.. not sure Bont will be losing sleep over this result.

I'd roll the dice on Jackson as I don't think he has the hurt factor I50.

If they pile on the same junk comments as per rd 20 you'd think his teammates will support him which will give him a boost.
