    Re: Trends Podcast - "Cohesion"

Not saying I disagree, but we've seen a number a clubs - Richmond spring to mind - have significant off-field reviews and turnover in backroom staff that brings an immediate improvement to results.

    Re: Trends Podcast - "Cohesion"

    Thanks MJP, really enjoyed that.

Carlton are a great case in point. Went and targeted Judd as the 'cultural fix' and while he was great for them as a player, it did nothing for the overall...

Re: Players on our list - yet to debut

Agree with Mof re. Vandermeer - there's something about him that says 'player'.

I think Cavarra has a role to play as that small pressure forward. I think he would've played a lot of footy this...

Re: Always Right Match Committee Rd 19 vs Fremantle

Wouldn't mind West having a crack as a forward. A lack of forward pressure has been a theme through the year.
  7. Re: Three things you have learned-round 18 v St Kilda 2019

Can you play both in the same forward line? Great finishers, good marks for their size and get in the right spots, but neither are quick (Dickson has lost a yard) and Dale certainly doesn't tackle. ...

That was as bad as it gets. Only reason it's not game over already is because Bruce and Savage missed gettable ones.

Tomlinson would be a great get - walks in and is clearly our best key defender. It also means we have less of the 'oh no, this opposition player over 193cn has kicked four, Naughton has to go back'...

  22. Re: How Luke Beveridge treated 2016 Premiership side may end up being his greatest move of all

Has he written this article purely because our age and games of experience are nearly identical to that of the Premiership side...and we just won a game?

It's an odd piece of writing.
  23. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 15, Vs Port Adelaide

If you'd have said that Crozier would develop into a better medium defender than Easton Wood, I'd have said you were crazy, but that's the reality.

I really don't see what role Wood actually...

  30. Re: Always Right Match Committee Thread Round 14, Vs Collingwood

Surely it should be a job for Wood? He's a good size and matches up well athletically. The captain hasn't brought much lately, I think it's a good week to tell him to sit in De Goey's back pocket and...

  32. Re: Three things you have learned round 13 2019 v Carlton.

    That's fairly revisionist.

Webb showed some great AFL form as a half back, started developing his midfield craft in the VFL but whenever he was promoted he'd play almost exclusively half forward....

Re: Josh Dunkley - A power Mid in 2019

Deserves the extra coin too. He's our second best mid after Bont.

He's quietly made himself into a 750k a year player in the last 7 weeks.
