I was under the impression he actually played some good footy for Brisbane once he was actually out on the park.

This thread could also be called "Welcome back down to Earth: Don't get too cocky just yet"

Some pretty horrible performances to go with the great finish to the year

That's some pretty piss poor writing there. No need to tell us what he says verbatim and then include the same quote

Probably Hunter as the 4th. The poor one is hard cause we don't know for sure who they'd have in the best 22

    Re: The half time break

You're probably right on those points.

Further on not everything being about the players I'm sure they also don't want to be answering questions on the bench or at half time but they do it anyway...

    Re: The half time break

Except as previously stated it's based on the incorrect premise that the players want the break. They feel the long cool down period increases the risk of injury apparently.

    Lachie Young then?

I kind of like the idea of giving it a year and maybe considering if Khamis wants to change to 38 if he's coming along nicely.

That's a leap to imply it'd be a decisive factor in whether I go or not. It enhances the appeal and experience which is important when I have the option of watching the game in my own home, at the...

Personally as someone not interested in overpaying for beer or sub-par food I find the 20 minute break quite boring and tedious to sit through. Shortening it is more of a reason to go in person for...

And yet it appears, based on all reasonable logic, that it's wrong in this case and is apparently has some history of being wrong with regards to list status.

Re: Welcome to the Western Bulldogs: Louis Butler

Ryan was a good long kick but not always a great decision maker. More a 'give it a roost' type IIRC (as most of our team was going I50 by the end of the Rocket years)

Welcome to the Western Bulldogs Riley Garcia

    https://draftprospects.prod.afl/prospect/1006533

Taken with a trade of picks

Coverage has him as a small mid with pace and his character was talked up for the way he handled an injury.

They have no real claim for any extra Friday night games over anyone else because of that though. The inequalities in the fixture should be addressed but not because 'we had the idea first'

Lipinski is doing well as a mid so trying to make him adjust his game again to replace Tory wouldn't make much sense. Maybe if we'd got Martin it'd be different but Dickson likely offers us more than...

The idea being if he wasn't delisted Carlton would have had to risk someone else picking him up in the PSD between the first and second picks I assume. Doesn't really change that they'd surely pick...

Re: What to do with 13?

It might be a case of wait and see til draft day. If we love Weightman maybe we see what Melbourne does with 8 and trade it on the day for something later + points next year if the one love is gone.

Also funny to see the rating of Essendon vs Sydney.

Sydney retained Papley and get ranked the 3rd worst. Essendon retain Daniher and get 4th best.
