There was a particular passage of play in the last with Fitzgerald on the Hawkins wing where she evaded a couple and kicked to McLeod but the mark wasn’t paid. If anyone can capture that piece of...

Personally I don’t mind this selection (albeit him being another player of the ilk we have plenty of). It shows that there is a reward for effort playing in the Footscray team. This doesn’t guarantee...
I note Scott’s elevation - did this mean that Preston, McPherson or Raak didn’t play in the seconds game (as I haven’t read anything about their performances)
Looking forward to reports from both games from Woofers for the benefit of anyone stuck at work tomorrow ie me!
Great reward for effort - also impressed with the guns - he is going to be hard to beat one on one again this year!
I think you're right - thanks meenies....
Studied this clip fairly carefully and couldn’t see Treloar in any of the plays - injured/rested?
Did anyone else notice there was a decided lack of references in the match sim report, to the performances of any backline players. It was all about the mids/fwds....
it is with the AFL team per tweet from Western Bulldogs at 2.20 pm today. The website has also been updated to note 4 players are now training (versus 3)
Cody Raak invited to train with Dogs making it 4 players now. Is there still a Cat B spot available?
AFL site mentions following are training with Bulldogs:
Ewan Macpherson (Northern Knights)
Corey Preston (Eastern Ranges)
Anthony Scott (Footscray Bulldogs)
Does anyone else like his height (together with his jump)? Hope he develops - could well be a rangy wingman amongst other options.

Noticed this on BF. Thought it was to insightful not to share on WOOF. Interview conducted after his GF exploits. The kid is a bit daggy but asks the right questions.
Is it possible we place McLean on the LTI list and recruit MacPherson under the replacement ruling? I’d be surprised (as others are) if Power didn’t have something in mind for Ewan.
More info:
#51 Lachlan McNeil (League)
In a game where all the Eagles youngsters contributed well, McNeil was the best of the bunch. He provided relentless run along the wing and used the ball as...
Did anyone see Naughton or English training in the video - stuck in WA?
Goal kicking - in the highlights package Treloar seemed comfortable shooting for goal. Have felt Macrae (in particular) tends to be happier to pass the ball off versus having a shot himself.
I just like his goal kicking nous - looks like an upgrade on both Dunks and Macrae
Just listened to Martin on Bulldogs website - very happy with selection - super impressive, not just for Tim but Jordan Sweet as well.
Some of my memories/images from 'off' the field...
Sliding down the embankment behind the Cross Street goals on old cardboard boxes when it was wet and slippery after a game
Going to the...
I almost missed the game - played in a local FDL reserves game earlier in the day and got to the ground at half time to catch up with the old man. Reckon I would have been spewing if I hadn't made...
Leaves us with some great goals/memories. All the best Tory for the future.
In that clip, Geelong's Narkle looked pretty handy...
I'm sticking my neck out as I'm in the Gardner camp as a better selection option that Lewy Young for the role I believe he is being selected for and that is to take on an opposition's big forward.
...
What about Darcy Macpherson - pretty handy for GC before they got this year's influx of high draft picks which have 'pushed' him out of the side.
Although not blessed with out and out pace, he can...
Great thread - am a Dunkley fan, so not not keen on him being put up as a trade option.
There has been some references to players we might like to target in this thread (and other threads) and am...
This is a good move by the coaching staff...in the VFL this kid loved tucking the ball under his arm and just running. Maybe Woofers can remember his performance in the last finals game of the 2019...
Enjoyed watching him pull on the red, white and blue jumper - was a favourite of mine in our midfield in those days.
Lynchy has had his chances over the years - if lists are to be cut to 35 (or thereabouts) would be the first I'd let go. VFL form in 2019 was nothing special.
I'd go Libba as well given the need for him to have more than one string to his bow when he returns to the team. It also takes him away from having to rest in the the forward line as part of midfield...
Terry is a big Willy supporter and always at their VFL games - was both a player and coach there, as well as Bulldogs.
Level 3 closed. Looks like a crowd of 2-3,000 only. Dogs on the
ground now.
I think you will find the East West Club have been forced to reconsider where they hold this year's event as the Football Club has pushed the potential date for the event into February which means...
Great news and well done by the publicity dept with the video they put together around his re-signing
He was exciting with the ball in hand in most of his VFL games - shows promise as that outside running player - not that dissimilar to Richards
The first 3 are Altona North, Brooklyn. Not sure if the Y stands for Youth or Yarraville
This is a great read and I look forward to watching games this year at both AFL and VFL level and seeing the games thru the prism of player and/or football club options you have presented here. Thank...
Having watched Scott perform in many games this year at VFL level, I would put him in front of Cavarra, R Smith, Gardiner in terms of contribution to team - his selection would depend on whether we...
Happy with this trade
My thoughts re Scott - firstly, a huge loss leading into the finals when he did his hamstring in the final round of the season. He adds goal kicking nous to hard running and football smarts. Not...
