I was brought up in an Essendon household. Wasn’t hugely into football, but “sort of” followed Essendon, coz living in tassie we never saw any games and there was little on tv. It wasn’t until about 1984 that I got a footy card of Simon Beasley and I thought his hair was pretty cool. I also loved the red, white and blue colours of the bulldogs, so myself and bro changed teams and have been dogs ever since.
I will never see #16 the same!!

This may be the only time those words have ever been put together in that order.

Re: Who does your family support and how did you come to support the Bulldogs

My extended family are all Bulldog supporters (we all have reserved seats together). Not being able to watch the game with father, my brother, my sister, nephews and nieces is going to really hurt.

Grand Final Day in 2016 was special as we could share in the moment together. We are all going to miss that this time around.
