No no they didn't, it was a horrible close-minded piece of legislation that contributed to the sacking and suicide of some very good soldiers, and Obama rightfully turfed it.

It shouldn't be anyone's buisiness whether a player is gay or not, but they should not rightfully 'expect' anything other than acceptance (despite what they might actually receive) if they decide to stop hiding and lying and say take their boyfriend to the Brownlow, just like any other straight player takes their girfriend/wife. To say they should rightfully expect negative comments for wanting to live their life honestly is a tacit approval of those comments...
