Chris Wood to Newcastle, we’ve paid his release clause reported to be in the vicinity of 20 mill.

Not the most dazzling of signings but im really happy with it. Proven goal scorer and can slot straight in for Watford on the weekend. Considering we only have Wilson and Gayle as strikers with the former out for 2 months it’s a relief to have someone !

Pinching a relegation rivals best player is a great strategy.

Not sure what they're thinking if it's not a release clause.

Seems it is, you’d imagine Dyche would be bleeding. Wood is their most reliable striker. Interesting to see how he fits in Newcastle. Hope they’ve got some decent crossers of the ball.

Are Newcastle a chance to survive? They've got some ground to catch-up on.

Big couple of months. Need to draw some games rather than getting spanked in them, on top of winning against those around us and pinching one or two others.

Martial off on loan to Sevilla. Wave goodbye United fans.

Newcastle apparently trying for Jesse Lingard and in their effort to stay in the league by undermining Burnley, also having a crack at James Tarkowski. Hope they make it in time for their important mid-season Saudi training camp.

In happy news, looks like if he can pass a fitness test Christian Eriksen will make a comeback with Brentford, the Danish equivalent of Wolves Portugese contingent.

I'd be very happy with Lindgard. We need all the attacking help we can get.
Tarkowski not sure, rather Diego Carlos if that goes through.
    Great news re Eriksen.

I've kept a close eye on Brentford, loved the way they have flipped a few things around in their player identification and recruitment.
Hopefully Eriksen adds a bit for them.

Just be awesome to see him get on a pitch and do his thing.
