western bulldogs father son prospects oliver liberatore, tyler kolyniuk and josh kellett have all been named in their tac team bottom age list.josh and tyler will suit up for western jets this season while oliver will follow his older brothers footsteps and play for calder cannons with this year's father-son prospect rhylee west.

Pretty sure there's a Darcy and a Dimattina a year or two later also. Plus Mrs West had four boys, so they will coming coming up too. If several of them get drafted by us, I propose the club award Mrs West a life membership and the number one ticket holder for as long as she wants it.

Rhylee West, Khamis (NGA), Liberatore, Kellett, Kolynuik, Darcy, Dimmatina, Wests X 3

Hopefully most make the grade and we can plunder the system.

Maybe we can be the first club to make up an entire team from F/S recruits?

I'm looking for a another challenge for us post premiership.

    Re: Future Father/Sons

Let's hope these father/sons come in all shapes and sizes, don't want 6 mids and we let a couple go and they burn it up.
I want to see a ruckman , a CHF a CHB and a couple of midfielders so far all I see are mids :-(

It's a midfielders game. Most teams set up with one tall forward, two tall backs a ruckman, a versatile tall and 17 blokes who can run, run, run.

As early as 1998 a journo were about Terry Wallace using "A ruckman in Scott Wynd, a CHF in Chris Grant, and 16 midfielders" after a win

The West Coast premiership teams in 1992 and especially 1994 used to be called the midfield premiership teams at the time because they had so many mids and a lot less talls than teams tended to have back then.

You know if it looks like we will plunder the father/son system, they will change the rules so we can't benefit.
