Capper on Open Mike this Monday

No doubting The Wiz could play. But since his hay day, do you now love him or loathe him?

Personally, I think he's a charachatuer but I'm an unabashed fan. Neither I, nor he, takes Warwick Capper seriously, and from that viewpoint I think his BS and verbal crap is quite amusing.

So... Love him or loathe him?

Perhaps he is intending to announce he is joining Clive Palmer's party and running for the Senate. It would appear that he meets all the designated criteria.

    He's over qualified.

"That's why pencils have rubbers, I've made a few mistakes"
"I'm the Paris Hilton of Australia" (re his sex tape)

Regrets leaving for cash, going to a crap team. Told Buddy to stay.

Kicked a goal for every two kicks in 1987!! Might have a screw loose, but that's impressive.

Took speed before a 1986 final, crashed at half time.

Exceptionally Amusing interview, what a great footballer though.

That was the best football interview I've seen in a long time, if not ever. Pissed myself laughing the entire time.

Yep. I love Open Mike, and this was the best, an absolute cracker. If you missed it its worth IQing. Classic stuff.

I think he's bloody funny, but I missed the interview.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

The whole interview is on YouTube. Just search Warwick Capper Open Mike.

    Enjoy

    Spoiler alert:

Mike: why were your shorts so tight?

Capper: I had baggy shorts in my first game and I went to pick the ball up on the wing. I looked down and saw three balls. Two little blue ones and a red Sherrin.

Must admit I found him very funny. Yes he's a goose but a very entertaining one at that.

Classic line that Knights was a "great bloke" but couldn't coach a pig to get dirty.

On again now, ranked 2nd best episode.

Toughest opponent: “Rick Kennedy. He was always punching me in the head, punching my arms. Falling on me on purpose”.

Still hilarious even though I knew the lines were coming.
