Pretty terrible commentary for such an outrageously good goal.
Libba the architect again.
Just a standard miserable night at the office by farken ch 7.
Bont's last 20 odd games have been peerless. He does it all and in all facets of the game. So impressed by his defensive 50 work last night - he really helped out deep and was pivotal in a number of D50 chains.

Sometimes his defensive work goes unnoticed (probably not by us on here). Last night in the final qtr he was huge and was able to spoil a couple of Ports forward entries.

He's in rarefied air at the moment.

Yep, well noted. Great punch to the boundary, defensive marks etc.

I love the call at 2:12 - "They had no right to kick a goal then, ran through a phone box of players. Ken Hinkley has sip on his coke, he might need more than that" hahah

Radio commentators are so much better. They say the score often, know the player's names and give more accurate descriptions.

Re: Marcus Bontempelli
Yeah no surprise that the ch7 call was the worst of the bunch.
Didn't really notice the Bont smother in the lead up to the goal

Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen. I'm here twice a year. Try the fish.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Marcus Bontempelli
So.....until now I'd been thinking there are too many others taking votes off Bont this year....including Macrae, who would be right up there.
But he's probably got 3 votes v
West Coast
Gold Coast
Carlton
Port (although I had Libba better....we know Bont is more noticeable).
And he probably votes v GWS.

My breakdown had him on ten votes two weeks ago, after the Richmond game. I reckon he'd be on either fifteen or sixteen now.

Tom Browne reporting just signed a four year extension.
Outstanding result.
We should probably start a contract thread.
