Brashaw would not be a disaster - he can use the pill and has some leg speed apparently.
But imagine if Dees have a hard on for brashaw and so Petracca falls to us at 4. GWS wanted him so bad.
I am almost willing to give up on a key forward just for that to happen.
If we have pick 4 for Griffen and the Saints take McCartin at 1 that leaves us either Petracca, Brayshaw or Wright still available at pick 4. All of them would be good gets. Getting Petracca for example would also strengthen the Boyd to the Dogs campaign.
It all hinges on getting pick 4 and something for Griffen
Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"
Going to be a busy few hours now, I suspect.
It seems that there's a line up of deals to be done across the sixteen teams waiting to happen like a chain reaction. If they are not all done with urgency, because for example a team has only one deal to make and so does not need to be urgent yet holds up other deals, then that could mean the deadline happens before deals can be done. Considering that Boyd and Griffen are the two top players in trading and GWS are forestalling because they want to keep Boyd more than they want Griffen, we may need to prepare ourselves for the deals not getting done.
so is trading done for the day?
The Jaksch deal is done, waiting for details
