I believe so. The Dees had some interest but are now looking at just completing a trade for Sam Frost

Its just a ‘meh’ signing if true, I don’t wish him any untoward, just not close to filling the Griff gap.

Our trading strategy can't be about standing still until we get traction with GWS. We have other needs that need to be considered and given the clock is ticking I am glad our recruiting team is looking at a holistic picture, rather than only concentrating on Griffen and GWS. No doubt they have a plan in place for how to respond when the moment GWS make an official offer for Griffen arrives, and in the meantime will look to make other not quite so headline-grabbing deals.

I hope not. He's a small inside mid who's not damaging with the ball. Not much of an upgrade on Alex Greenwood.
