    Matt Priddis wins Brownlow

Wow, decent player and all and certainly an upgrade on the Woewodin win but big shock to me. He certainly was the quite achiever wasn't he. Fyfe nearly did a Chris Grant and Selwood nowhere to be seen

Selwood 21 votes so right up there. Priddis had all the leading stats for the year with more disposals than anyone and right up there with his clearances as well. Nice bloke too, and very humble.

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Great result for the blue collar heavy lifter footballer.
He's carried that midfield for an eternity. Pleasing result

Priddis has been a gun for years.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great effort. So glad Selwood didn't win it.

I've never really understood why we put so much stock in an award voted on by people who we don't even trust to do their actual job properly each week.
    Congrats to Priddis though.

Woewodin was a good footballer who had 2 very good years. Bit harsh when people pot him.

Oh I wasn't really potting him - he was a good footballer but pretty much every other player I can think of who has won the award was better.

I'm thinking of Priddis as our Scott West. I think I undersold him. Good win for a 29 year old.

Deserving winner. Seems to be controversy every year, part and parcel of the Brownlow. Can count on him week in week out to do everything within his powers to help his side win.

10 votes and our top vote getter in his 2nd year. This kid will be something alright!

Also Bonts getting 4 votes in his first year is a good sign, considering we didnt get too many votes as a club

Yes, but the winner got 26 votes. Expected or otherwise, a poor showing this count.

50 votes out of 132, sounds about right, matches up pretty well with our Win/Loss.
