Break works for me. Black banned by the AFEL and all clubs is good too.

Get something like that just a little bit wrong and they will make him pay a heavy price. I almost admire the little turd.
Yep, he's certainly taking a risk there. Though it seems he hasn't provided much in the way of evidence to support it aside from 'looks sus'.

Last night a few of us were hoping and demanding that a journo would pick up the cudgels of this suspect looking deal between Port and Geelong, run with it and call City Hall's bluff on it. It looks like we might get our wish.

I wish I'd wished to win tattslotto.

Hopefully now that it's out there a competent journalist will say "that does look a bit sus" and start chipping away. There's a huge story just sitting there for a proper journalist who doesn't rely on their AFL accreditation to make a living to flush out. The ABC is starting up a brand spanking new investigative journalism unit to replace Lateline. I'm sure it'd love an AFL head hanging from the wall as the trophy from its first story. Where's the ABC's phone number?

Sure, but why challenge the politburo at AFEL House now? And why on this issue?

You have to start somewhere. Thin end of the wedge, open the flood gates.

I don't think Barret has the chops to get anywhere past the headline aspect of a story and do any real damage but he could open the door for a proper journalist to bring down he whole pack of cards. Essendon and their elastic salary cap is what I'd really like a journalist looking into.

It worked out well from Trotsky. Last I heard he was enjoying the sunshine and Coronas in Mexico. Why should this be any different a result?

Nah, Trotsky was living it up in Mexico but didn't have any stolen gold to hide in Argentina. The Nazis on the other hand...

Barrett now basically calling Bevo a liar:

    Sliding doors this week

    WESTERN BULLDOGS

If two senior football department officials from other clubs can vividly recall conversations about Dahlhaus in trade period last year, without being prompted ...
then we’ll let you make up your own mind.

They can discuss Dahl all they want, doesn't mean the club was shopping him around.
