It really is, it's just shocking. The biggest problem is it's got a heap of young players who've shown next to nothing but weren't give enough chances under the mesiah to make a proper decision on them. It was really only Thompson's season that has given them any idea who can potentially take them forward or not. They've got 4 or 5 decent looking kids and about 10 in the 19-23 bracket that should've either played 50 games or been delisted by now.

Hird and his ego have damaged that club in so many areas.

This could be the perfect situation for a player to take his chances in the PSD. He's tried to do the right thing by his current club, but his current club are douchebags, so he is within his rights to strand them.

Is trading of preseason picks allowed? A trade with Carlton for pick #1 in the PSD would be the best outcome.
