    Re: Dirt Cheap Fares

Oddly enough had just booked flights to Darwin with the family for late June when I read this.
Now I'm going to Launceston for 4 days also with the family and I've got a flight to Canberra which lands an hour and a half before the game, now I just have to get home.

I booked flight to the Gold Coast for our family of 4 - $80 in total.

I'll catch the train to Brisbane to see the match.

The sale started at about 10.30 this morning, so you would have to be lucky to find something now.

The one day I can't log on here and I am punished.

To make things worse I am supposed to receive an email from Tiger in regards to things like this. When I tried to sign up again just now they said 'you are already on our list'.

With a name like 'Tiger' is it any wonder you got stuffed around?

Apparently the plane flies back and forth between Sydney and Canberra 12 times before detouring via Adelaide, then coming into Melbourne via an impossible angle, just missing the runway and landing in Cranbourne. The pilot then gets out of the cockpit motions to all the passengers to say they should have let him have the shot at the runway and he sulks back to the pilots lounge

They actually didn't send an email today.

They sent it last week saying that there would be some things happening this week and to check the website.

I checked it this morning and there was nothing. I then heard the news on the radio and they said that Tiger had launched new fares today.

    Went back on, and bingo.

Once I booked the Gold Coast flights, I checked both Canberra & Launceston and there were flights available, but I couldn't convince the cheese and kisses to go.

Fortunately mine barracks for Hawthorn. Well not fortunately but you know...
And we'd already planned to go to Darwin because we loved it so much last time.
