I'm not surprised by this pick. hopefully a player who can buzz about the forward line at the feet of some of those big fellas we now have

Kid is an absolute jet, a very small jet but a jet nevertheless.

Is it too much of the same thing? Hrovat, Honeychurch, Daniel, Dahlhaus...I'm sure they have points of difference, but it seems similar.

I'm sure he is a very talented player, and from a 'best available' point of view he seems like a good pick. But from a list management point of view I'm not convinced.

Love this little guy. Saw his BOG at the Champs. A crowd favourite.

Happy with Caleb Daniel - someone that quick with his endurance has a place at AFL level.

Not sure about picking other short guys this year at the same time though.

Daniel is an upgrade on Honeychurch in my view. Love Honeychurch but not convinced he will make the grade.

This is how I sit with this pick.

Add McLean who is also sub 180cms and Hunter.

Hawks and Swans have a large number of smalls, don't think it matters if they can all play - I think we've got a good group who can rotate through a few roles and add slightly different things.

Our newer additions are good users too.

I'll be cheering for him, but I don't like it. I said the same thing about Honeychurch last year, we have enough smalls IMO.

That's the drafting theme for us this year isn't it? Good users, natural footballers. Not too worried regarding no KP. Trust the recruiters that they were too risky. Perhaps a sign of confidence in Talia, Roberts etc.

Plays like Daniel Kerr a bit in his highlights vid. Great spatial awareness.
