Anyway onwards with Steph Martin in 2022.
I think so to.

Agree.
Usually the managers will shop them around before they choose a club.

Re: Well Ruck Me.
How are we not interested?
We’re not rebuilding, we’re at midnight!
Bevo repeatedly mentioned the mids would grill him on Stef’s availability throughout the year, surely he doesn’t think Martin will give us 20 + games next year?!?
Genuinely baffling

I guess that is our assumption on how he would likely fit into what we want out of a ruck man and maybe we think Sweet is better.
Still having some depth at the position seems to be a logical decision especially with English baulking at signing a contract extension until next year and knowing West Coast will likely go hard for his services.

IMO Lobb is not even at English level.
No, I’m suggesting Sweet will lead our ruck next year. But I still expect that we will look to replace Martin in the next two days.

Re: Well Ruck Me.
If Ceglar didn’t want to come, then what can you do - I hope we were interested at least.
If we can get through to prelim night 2022 with Stef fit and in form then fair play…
Anyone think Vardy was a good recruit for West Coast? Tom Boyd for us? These guys make a big difference in September

And they are our future
We've been too short term in not throwing enough big blokes on the list, and letting them bubble away in the VFL,
Alternatively, if we want something cheap, we could do a lot worse than just bring Tom Campbell back

You're surprised we re-signed one of only 3 ruck options on our list? This is the least surprising news of the trade period.

Where is this? I have looked on the AFL and Bulldogs website and can't find it anywhere. I actually thought we were waiting to see what happened before we re-signed him.
